Who we are
This website is run by Eleni Koutsoudi-Iola (“we”). For anything about your data, write to info@iolasofficial.com.
What we collect
Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you. They are not used for marketing and not shared, except with Lovable, which delivers the site’s email on our behalf. We keep messages for 12 months after the conversation ends, then delete them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs. Like any website, our host (Lovable) briefly records technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of visit, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are deleted after 30 days.
Language setting. Your choice of English or Greek is stored in your browser (local storage) and in a strictly necessary cookie, iolas-lang, for 1 year — see the Cookie Policy.
What we don’t do
There are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies on this site; the only cookies are strictly necessary ones, listed in the Cookie Policy. Our hosting provider (Lovable) records anonymous visit statistics without cookies and without storing your IP address: pages viewed, approximate country (derived from your browser's time zone), device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), browser and referring website. It counts browsing sessions rather than individual people, and the figures are aggregated and cannot identify you.
Third parties
Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. To do this, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google may process this outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Google’s privacy policy.
Links. Links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Spotify, publishers and booksellers take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to or restrict its use, by writing to info@iolasofficial.com. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here.
