Iolas always believed in Keith Green, and encouraged him to leave Hammer Galleries and open his own gallery (Photo KEITH GREEN GALLERY), with the support of his wife, Mara Karetsou. Regrettably, he passed away suddenly 7 years after the marriage, at the age of 45, of a heart attack.
